As per the IMPLAN circulated by the Coast Guard Auxiliary District National Capital Region-Central Luzon (CGADNCR-CL) to its Squadrons re Oplan Ligtas Biyahe 2014, in anticipation of the influx of sea-going passengers in various ports in Manila, the 125th Squadron, through the headship of DAS CAPT JUNMAR A ROA, participated in manning the Passenger Assistance Center (PAC).
The Squadron manned the PAC in Pier 4, North Harbor and assisted an ailing infant and three adults who were complaining of high blood pressures. The officers have also returned a missing cellphone containing identification cards of a certain Leslie B. Evangelista, passenger of MV Princess of the South.
A total of 1796.101 passengers boarded St. Michael Archangell that evening while a bus-load of passengers of M/V Lily from Palawan arrived at Isla Puting Bato and was transported to Pier 4.
It was likewise noted that during the duration of the PAC duty, DAS CAPT JUNMAR A ROA divided the Squadron officers in manning the PAC table, coordinating with PPA, PCG and K-9 units, and assisting passengers especially those who are still unfamiliar with the newly built North Harbor. The Squadron also offered free juice to thirsty passengers.
