The PCGA 125th Auxiliary Squadron, led by Director Auxiliary Squadron CAPT JUNMAR A ROA PCGA, participated in a Coastal Clean-Up activity as organized by the Municipality of Cavite City and through the invitation of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Cavite last 12 April 2014.
The Coastal Clean-up was conducted in line with the Supreme Court’s Mandamus on the Rehabilitation of Manila Bay.
The activity was held at Barangay 14-Loro, Cavite City with the personnel of CGS Cavite at 0615H.
The cleaning started at 0645H where 11 members of the 125th Squadron, CGS Cavite, PNP-Maritime Group, Cavite Office of Public Safety (COPS), Environmental Protection Operations Division (EPOD) and barangay officials and residents of Brgy 13 & 14 participated.
More or less 200 sacks of assorted garbage were collected by the group and were later picked-up by a garbage truck as provided by the city hall.
